My Story

I am a proud mother, sister, and daughter born in Oakland, raised in the Bay Area, and a UC Davis graduate. Through exploration, experiences, and mistakes. I am glad to say I am the first generation to attend and graduate college in my entire family. I know what it means to fight to get an education. Now I live by not accepting what life gives me but fighting for what families deserve without limits.

I joined The Oakland REACH because I want to teach, motivate and support Oakland community parents. Building relationships matters, and having a sense of community where they are free to express themselves is crucial. I joined this team to educate parents and grandparents by empowering families to create change in their children’s education.  Families should be allowed to have their kids have access to a quality educational system.
